Crowd Funding Packages
Okay folks - we are heading to Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios in Auckland in October to work with award winning producer Steve Schram. We’ve got a brand new bunch of songs good to go so we hope you can help us with this project and get us across the ditch.
On top of this there will be a seven track maxi-single to precede the album! And at least we are confident this will be sub-titled The Cure For Everything. It features a whole bunch of covers - everything from Spencer Jones and Kim Salmon to Carla Geneve, Dave Benuik, Charles Jenkins and Paul Woseen. We’ve got this one almost good to go - we just need some songs from the new album to complete the package. We are thinking we should be able to have this released in March 2025.
Okay, here’s what’s on offer:
At this stage we don’t even know what the album will be called but as a lot of the songs are about going away and then a lot of them are about getting home again, I am thinking contenders are:
- Return Journey (too boring?)
- Round Trip (also too boring?)
- Around the Block (too silly?)
- First Step in a Homeward Direction (too long? This is actually the name of a new song.)
- There and Back Again (too Tolkien?)
- Home and Away (too Home and Away?)
Hmmmmm. Any thoughts?
